Covid has been here for 9+ months now and winter is looming. Mental health issues related to our lock down and the pandemic are especially hard for people with depression and other mental health disorders. NAMI, The National Alliance on Mental Illness has a 24-hour helpline: 800-950-6264. The relapse and overdose rate has increased by 30% since March 2020.

I’m asking my small corner of FB to follow suit: Could any two of my Facebook friends just copy and repost to share the helpline far and wide?

Hi All-

It’s been a while. Not for the lack or want to post and update but for so many other reasons. This year has been rough for so many of us- this I understand! However, with that being said it’s given much needed time and self reflection and some certifications which are all pluses for the organization and what’s to come over the next year.

Facing your own s**t is some of the rawest, toughest things a person can do, but it must be done in order to become the best version of you possible. As the old saying goes, “if YOU aren’t any good, you aren’t good for anyone”.

Stay tuned, keep your heads up and know you are never alone. We are all right there beside you. If it gets too rough, message.
