The final piece of our 2025 Sturgeon Park project was finally completed today, we installed commemorative signage that celebrates the state record rod-caught surgeon that came out of Yellow Lake in 1979, caught by Mr. John Procai. A big thank you to Chad Wek, with Buddy's Skid Steer for his help in clearing some snow and helping mount the signage. Stop by and give it a look, it's quite the story and well worth celebrating!

2025 has been a busy year as the Webster Area Chamber of Commerce, along with so many contributors and contractors and volunteers has created a new welcoming area and sign to greet residents and visitors as they enter the village. Phase one is complete! Phase 2 is already planned for 2026, looking forward to finishing up the entire area!

Celebration of Wayne's Foods Plus Grand Reopening after the extensive remodel starts today. After a short presentation inside the store, everyone stepped outside for a Ribbon Cutting. Congratulations to everyone at Wayne's, Webster's home-grown, home-town grocery store and more! The store looks great!

Ribbon cutting today for the new Welcome Sign in Webster featuring Stella the Sturgeon. Tim Procai, son of John Procai who caught the record-setting sturgeon, cut the ribbon. Also present were the artist who created the sturgeon statue and his granddaughter Stella, as well as representatives from various organizations who helped make this new park possible. Additions to the park will continue this fall.
