WG showed out for our first ever Community Work Day! Bringing donuts, loaning tools, digging rubble, donating funds, pulling weeds, rolling paint, cleaning walls — 30 people found ways to help amidst busy May calendars. Successful community land trusts are powered by neighbors, and we are certainly learning how. Thank you for your inspiring teamwork!

Have supplies to share?
Our Community Work Day on Saturday, May 9 is a 3-hour push to paint the interior of the first CLT home. The walls are washed and we are ready for you to roll! We would also love to clean up the beds in the backyard.

Community members are bringing donuts and coffee, and the St. Louis Post Dispatch is considering sending a photographer. If you can join us, please FB message or email [email protected]

You may be able to loan the supplies we need to make the day a success. Label your stuff and drop at the house, or we can pick up from your porch. Here’s our wishlist:

roller trays (5)
roller frames 8
edger tool (3)
paint cup (5)
drop cloths (5)
step stools (2)

We also need to purchase the following, if you’re willing to donate:
white rustoleum spray paint (2)
paint brushes (5)
roller covers 8
2 hanging plants to beautify the front porch
