The Schoemehl Run for ALS received a proclamation from St. Louis Councilwoman Lisa Clancy’s office today.
The Run for ALS made a powerful impact this year, bringing together 807 runners and raising more than $45,000 in support of two individuals living with ALS, as well as the ALS Association.
Organized entirely by seniors in Ms. Laurentius’ Marketing 2 class, this student led effort showcased initiative and teamwork. From securing sponsors and recruiting participants to designing signage and managing race-day operations, these students handled it all.
This was an impressive example of students turning learning into real world impact.
