A special moment from a few weeks back at our Kingston camp.
As we celebrate our 50th summer of camps, Doug Jarvis was presented with an HMI camp jersey bearing number 50. Doug (left) and Don Liesemer (right) were both part of HMI’s very first camp in Montreal five decades ago. Doug reflected on that first summer before sharing his personal faith in our loving God with the campers.
Doug’s moving message was followed by the testimony of HMI summer intern and college hockey player Hudson Kosloski. Hudson shared that nine years earlier, at this same Kingston camp, he had received Christ after hearing Doug’s testimony.
It was a deeply moving reminder of how God continues to use faithful witnesses from one generation to the next.
