C Crew is out taking advantage of the cooler weather and putting in the work! Aerial and Driver Training combines quite a lot of skills across multiple positions and requires precise coordination between Firefighters, Drivers, and Fire Officers on the scene. Strong work. C Crew!

The WGFFCO would like to congratulate 3 of our Webster Groves Fire Department members who have gotten married and extended not only their immediate families, but ours as well!

Congratulations to Firefighters Conrad, Rico, and Speckhals !

We view our fellow firefighters as brothers and sisters so when one of the family gets married, we think that they should be celebrated as such! Welcome to the WGFD family, Garrette, Alyssa and little Ray, as well as Dane!!!!

Today, the members of the Webster Groves Fire Department begin this years collection of Fill The Boot!
This year marks 72 years the IAFF and the MDA have maintained a partnership dedicated to fighting neuromuscular diseases, including muscular dystrophy and ALS.
Please be on the lookout this afternoon for firefighters collecting money for the MDA at various intersections across Webster Groves!

Twenty-five years later, we still remember.

We remember the 343 firefighters, 71 Law Enforcement Officers, 8 Paramedics and EMTs at Ground Zero 55 military members who gave the ultimate sacrifice in these horrendous attacks on innocent Americans.
We at the WGFFCO especially want to honor those who answered the call that morning and climbed the stairs while others were running down. They knew the danger, but they went anyway. We can only hope to honor their selfless courage by continuing to hold ourselves to that high standard of service to their community.

We remember the civilians who never made it home, the families who waited for loved ones who would never return, and the countless heroes who carried the weight of that day long after the smoke cleared.

September 11th reminds us that the fire service is more than trucks, stations, helmets, and gear. It is courage. It is sacrifice. It is brotherhood. It is standing in the face of unimaginable danger and saying, “Send me.”

Today, we honor those who gave everything. We carry their names. We carry their stories. We carry their sacrifice.

And every time a firefighter answers an alarm, every time a crew walks toward danger while others walk away, their legacy lives on.

343 brothers. Countless heroes. One eternal promise.

WE REMEMBER.
WE HONOR.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET.
