With the weather starting to change and SNAP benefits in limbo, the WGFFCO wants to help our neighbors stay warm and fed this winter by donating to a local drive. Please help spread the word and giving nature of our community!
You can contribute new or gently used winter clothing, such as coats, hats, and gloves, along with non-perishable food items.
Please drop off your donations at participating locations like Webster Rock Hill Ministries, Operation Food Search, St. Louis Area Food Bank, The American Red Cross, local Salvation Army, or other community organizations, which will distribute them to those in need.
How to participate
Donate clothing: Contribute new or gently used winter clothing like coats, jackets, sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves, and new socks.
Donate food: Donate non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, and rice to help local families.
Find a drop-off location: Look for a local drive through community organizations, such as The Salvation Army, or government-sponsored events. You can also find more information on local donation needs through community-focused groups on social media.
