WC BSA Troop 17

The troop scouts had Court of Honor last Sunday. These scouts were busy! Summer camp was a blast, everyone that went earned at least 4 merit badges. They also had a couple merit badge universities they went to over the last 6 months. Some scouts have been working hard on ranking up. We have 2 scouts finishing up eagle projects and 3 more scouts starting to think about what they want to do! We had a special guest and we did a photo opp, with twin eagle scouts and the twins that are currently working their way to eagle!
Thank you to everyone that supports our scouts!

It's that time of year again when we ask for community support, the scouts are out in full force asking for you to support them on their scouting adventures. What we love most about this fundraiser is it gives our scouts a chance to work on their communication skills. We encourage them all to look people in the eye and ask for your support. Even if popcorn isn't your thing, please just stop and listen. If you can help them out by purchasing a delicious bag of popcorn that's great. If not a simple no thank you is wonderful.

The troop scouts had an indoor campout this weekend. Lots of fun and learning happened. The big events for the weekend: weather merit badge, community service, scout jeopardy, and the movie Follow Me Boys was watched. The scouts cooked every meal, learned to play Jaxs and worked on knots.
