Justice for Laggie is getting much closer...Ee now know who did this to her and who her owner was at the time of the attack.. The names of those who did this is in the comments
Telling her brother about the cool night she had last night.
Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support this sweet little warrior princess. Laggie was pretty tired when we got home last night. Titan curled up next to her on the heated blanket and they didn’t move the entire night. I always had in my mind that I would continue to post about Laggies recovery and her life until her abusers were made known and until she was recovered. I’m beyond thankful that we are to that point. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy last night and be totally in her element. She gets tired quickly but she seems to be feeling very well and acts like a normal senior dog would. While she will always have a few lasting effects of her horrific ordeal, I believe she is indeed recovered and living her best life. She and Luck are on the bed next to me as I write this. Watching them sleep peacefully with full bellies, no pain, and only the very brightest of futures ahead makes me think that each and every one of you, Laggie’s army, her big amazing family, should always be a part of her life and I will continue to try to capture the sweetest moments like this photo for you as long as you would like.
I’ve been told by people who seem to have a gift for “knowing things” that Laggie knew what would happen to her. She knew the pain she would endure. She knew that she would “take one for the team” to launch a movement that would help other animals like her never have to suffer again. I’ve also been told by these people that she knew what her new life would be like and that it would be worth it. Please know I live each and every day to make sure it was all worth it and that she is happy, well loved, and has everything she could ever want...aka steak and ice cream. Thank you for going on this journey with us. We love you all more than you could ever know.
Thank you to my husband for getting justice for our girl. I love you.
