We are continuously fundraising for various projects. As a non-profit organization, hosting a Farmers Market each week costs money!
We try and make it fun! Today, I will be posting a few opportunities in where you can support our endeavors and you could win something! We are grateful for this community and the remarkable atmosphere you have fostered here.

Every contribution, no matter the size, aids us in providing fresh, local produce and handmade goods to our neighbors.

We are on Route 66 and want to create a mural that can be added to people's memories as they journey through our area. We have a talented artist, Becca Snell, who is donating her service, but we would still like to raise money for the supplies and to pay her!! If weather permits, she will be doing a live painting this Saturday during the market!

It’s true, it is a streetcar weekend! Weather permitting!! The Webb City clickety clack street car runs every first and third Saturday! The friends of the WC library will be reading stories on the train while it rides around the park.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. Ron Lankford and are grateful for the years of service and care Dr. Lankford gave to the Webb City Farmers Market and community.

Through a lifetime as an educator and community leader, Ron had a remarkable gift in connecting with people. He didn’t just meet them. He remembered them, their stories, and what mattered to them.

During a challenging period in our market’s history, Dr. Lankford served on our board with steadiness and clarity. He listened carefully, weighed all sides with humility, and offered practical guidance grounded in experience and a deep commitment to the community’s well-being. His presence helped carry us through uncertainty and difficult decisions.

But his impact went far beyond board meetings. He and his wife Carolyn quietly supported special causes, and Dr. Lankford could often be found at the market early on Saturday mornings, helping set up, greeting vendors, and stopping to talk with customers he knew by name. His joy radiated to everyone he met.

The market continues to benefit from his service, care, and example. He is truly missed.
