PLEASE read and consider being a small part of the solution!!!

This is a tough post but I’m doing it anyway. I know there are some of you who follow us but don’t usually come to get food! This is how you can help!!

The last TWO weeks, we have provided food and supplies to ALMOST 400
people!!! 60% who have come in are first timers! Most tell us they have never needed to go to a pantry before!

We CANNOT keep food on the shelves (and we have limits of how much they can take!).

We are desperate for donations! We know everyone is struggling now but clearly some more than others. There is a simple, easy way you can help with a solution.

If just 40 people or businesses will commit to JUST $10 a month, I can keep our shelves stocked!!! We are on the way to this goal but need YOU to do your part!

Eblen Charities is giving away free coats and other winter clothing to people in need during its 13th annual Winter Coat Giveaway in Asheville.

New and gently used coats, scarves, mittens, hats and other winter clothing essentials are available at 23 Hamilton St. in Asheville from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 20 and 21.!!!

Free clothing, shoes, feminine hygiene products, adult diapers, limited household items, shelf stable food, bottled water, new blankets, & propane!

This Saturday, October 24th @ Dillingham Presbyterian Church beginning @ 10am. At noon, Catawba Heights Baptist Church will distribute water & food donations & Bud McCall with Appalachian Navy will provide a propane exchange. 20 # tanks/2 tank limit.
