Don’t forget
Western North Carolina Returned Peace Corps Volunteers
Annual Meeting
Potluck dinner – bring a dish to share, from your country of service if possible
Sunday, October 18, 2026
4 – 7 pm
Fellowship Hall, Warren Wilson Presbyterian Church
It will be an opportunity to:
• Enjoy being with your fellow RPCVS, family and friends
• Share a potluck dinner and our Peace Corps experiences
• Help us make plans for next year (and volunteer to help?)
• Hear an update on the status of the Peace Corps around the world
• Help fund a project by a current Peace Corps Volunteer
This year at the annual meeting we are collecting donations to help fund grants for a project called the “Women's Garden's New Life.” It is being led by a current Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal.
This grant will strengthen and upgrade an existing women-led garden that was created by community members to improve access to market vegetables throughout the year. Upgrades will include reinforced fencing with a secure entrance, storage structures, and improvements to the solar-powered irrigation system.
These upgrades will allow year round cultivation, expand use of the entire garden area, and reduce labor demands related to watering and repeated fence repairs.
Please help! Bring cash or your check made out to WNCRPCV. (We will also be able to accept Venmo and Zelle for your donations)
Look forward to seeing you there!!
