The Western Plains Weatherford Genealogical Society is excited to kick off a new season of genealogy, local history, and community connection!
Join us Monday, September 28th at 6:00 PM at our new location: 201 SW Main St., Lower Level of the City Building in Weatherford.
We’ll begin the season with a potluck, so feel free to bring a favorite dish to share and enjoy an evening of good food, conversation, and fellowship with others who share an interest in genealogy and family history.
During the meeting, we’ll discuss upcoming community outreach projects, future meetings, workshops, and plans for the society as we look ahead to an exciting new season.
And remember—you do not have to live in Weatherford to join us! While Weatherford is our home base, the Western Plains Weatherford Genealogical Society serves all of Western Oklahoma. Whether you’re an experienced researcher, just beginning your family-history journey, or simply curious about genealogy and local history, we’d love to have you join us!
The meeting is free and open to the public. Come meet us and see what our society is all about!
