Did You Know? 🎓

Students can earn a PTA Graduation Cord just by being involved!

By attending PTA meetings, joining the PTA, serving on student leadership boards, volunteering, and participating in programs like Reflections, students can earn points toward receiving a special PTA Graduation Cord at graduation.

The best part? Points are cumulative, so students can start earning them as early as freshman year!

This year's graduating seniors were the first class to complete the program, and we're excited to see even more students earn their cords in the future.

💙 Did You Know? 💙

The PTA is the largest child advocacy organization in the United States, with more than 125 years of history supporting students, families, and schools!

While many people know PTA for local school events and programs, PTA also works at the state and national levels to advocate for policies and opportunities that help children succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Every PTA member helps make a difference—not just in our schools, but for children everywhere.

Today, we had the pleasure of honoring our teachers and staff with an All Blue themed snack bar. We had popcorn, rice krispie treats, chex mix and so much more! We were able to do this at both campuses. We hope our staff got a chance to enjoy this token of our appreciation. We love everything y'all do for our kids. Thank you!

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to our 8 PTA Graduation Cord recipients this year! 🎉

We are so proud of each and every one of you. You are the very first group to go through this program, and even though the group is small, you’ve started something BIG. You’ve set the standard for the students who will come after you.

Thank you for showing up, attending meetings, joining the PTA, and making your voices heard. That’s what being part of a community like PTA is all about, and you’ve truly made a difference on our campus.

Just a reminder, we are still looking for donations for our Teacher Appreciation Week All Things Blue celebration. If you can help out, we would be so appreciative!

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and we’re getting ready to celebrate the amazing teachers at Weatherford High School and the Ninth Grade Campus!

This year, we’re putting together a “Blue Snack Bar”—so think snacks and drinks in blue packaging. It’s a fun way to treat our teachers and show them just how much they mean to us.
