I remember this time last year, begging the team at Texas a&m to trim his feet when he was asleep because he was terrified of them being touched and with his bad joint letting his feet get long would not help his journey to healing. They literally called in a farrier to trim his feet as he was asleep, intubated and on his side. Fast forward to this year—->Another successful trim on Arlo by our shoer Juan! Thank you for being patient with him, & again to Gabby Dobbs for teaching him to hold his feet. No stocks or drugs are needed for this boy to have his trims done!

Thank you Gabby Dobbs Horsemanship for teaching Arlo to trust having his feet trimmed without drugs and to be bathed without fear ♥️ he is just 1year3mo post being rescued from the kill pen and 1 year post surgery(a very long one he almost didn’t survive)

Arlo is heading to get 14 days of training by Gabby Dobbs so that he can hold his feet for a farrier without being drugged! He loaded up for me with no problem such a good boy! I am so happy for his future. We are still accepting donations for his training via Venmo and Zeffy! Arlos Hope is a Texas Nonprofit! Links to donate are in profile bio!
