Happy Boss’s Day to our Executive Director, Charley Rickey!
Today, we’re celebrating a leader who is passionate about the Lord, passionate about life, and passionate about the families we have the privilege of serving.
Charley leads with a servant’s heart. He’s the kind of leader who is just as willing to take out the trash or shovel ice out of the parking lot as he is to lead the ministry. That humility is one of the many things we appreciate about him! He challenges us to stretch beyond our comfort zones, encourages us to grow, and motivates us to keep moving forward in the work God has called Grace House Ministries to do.
And Charley definitely knows how to make the workplace FUN! You never know what you might walk into when you come to the office you just might find Charley singing along to a song as he goes about his day!
There also isn't much Charley won't do to raise money for the mission! He has even been part of a ventriloquist skit where he sang, danced, and wore an incredibly embarrassing costume all in the name of supporting Grace House Ministries! Now THAT is dedication! He reminds us that this ministry is bigger than any one person it’s about faithfully following where the Lord leads and serving women, men, students, and families with truth, compassion, and hope.
Charley, thank you for your faith, humility, encouragement, leadership, servant’s heart, and ability to make us laugh. Thank you for challenging us, believing in us, and reminding us to keep our eyes on the One who called us to this work.
We are so grateful to have you leading Grace House Ministries!
