Please consider doing this. Long qt can cause unexpected death!
Madison McCarthy, age 5, asked to be excused from lunch to use the restroom at school. She was found unresponsive in the restroom. She reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest from Long QT Syndrome. No one recognized the severity of her condition. Long QT Syndrome, along with other potential cardiac issues, often can be detected in an EKG. That's why Cresson Volunteer Fire Department will provide free screening EKG's to any kids whose parents want them this Saturday, May 2. Sign up as shown on our earlier April 13 post with the link or QR code.
