It's Giving Tuesday. I've been pretty quiet about life lately. As most of you know, we moved from Weatherford where we launched Today.Church in 2017. What we thought was a sabbatical has become something entirely different. While Today.Church isn't meeting in person as a church now, a few, including us, have continued to give. That has allowed us to keep the infrastructure in place that we are using for disciple-making groups and house churches both here in the Lake Tawakoni area and in Weatherford. What we see in 2026 is this infrastructure continuing to support disciple-making and an organic, simple house church network now in development. On this Giving Tuesday, would you consider helping keep Today.Church online? We have been personally paying for many of these resources, but the domain is expiring tomorrow, and we need to raise at least $82 today. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Last week we made a necessary but difficult decision. We told Today.Church Sunday, and below is a link to a detailed post. Here's a synopsis.

- First, we simply don't have the income or support to continue what we are doing, this way.
- The only thing that makes sense, and that we have any peace about, is moving to East Tawakoni where we own a small fixer-up house we inherited. It's a couple of hours from here. We have until the end of January to move.
- And so, beginning January 20th, as we move, Tangi and I will begin a minimum three-month sabbatical. We are so thankful to those who have committed to stepping up and covering leadership and logistics during this time.

I've wrestled with how to communicate this. It's not my intention to ask for anything other than prayer for provision and wisdom. I know God is at work and working all things together for good.

Also, just to be clear - this is a "ministry" sabbatical. Not a vacation. It's a time for us to focus on sustainable income and housing as the foundation to continue making disciples.

What an amazing night we had for Early Christmas on Camelot. We shared lots of smiles and joy together, connected with dozens of people… AND most of all had many opportunities to have Gospel conversations! Thank you to everyone who donated and showed up to help!
