Some Lions serve for a season. Others become part of the tradition.

It was such a blessing to run into Lion Jim Duncan at the rodeo this week. Jim is a Lion with decades of service, friendship, and dedication to our community.

We snapped this photo while working our Lions Club “Burger Shack”, a place where Jim has spent countless hours over decades cooking burgers, serving families, and helping make the rodeo a success. This week, he was able to sit back and enjoy a little of the rodeo he has helped support for so many years.

People often see the fun of the rodeo, but behind every event are volunteers like Jim whose faithful service makes it all possible. Thank you Lions for serving this week and thank you, Jim, for your years of Lionism, your servant’s heart, and the example you continue to set for all of us. 💙🦁🤠
