Hey y’all! Welcome to Agape! (pronounced uh-GAH-pay) Agape is the Greek word that defines God's immeasurable, incomparable love for humankind.
We started this organization to show residents of Parker County God’s agape kind of love. There is a huge need for food, running water, clothing, electricity, medical bills, financial aid for home and car repairs, and so so so much more. We want to show people God’s love by helping to meet as many of these needs as possible by providing whatever we can.
We are just in the very very beginning stages of our organization so bear with us. We are talking with our accountants so that we can get set up and file for our 501c3, then we will get everything else set up so that we can start serving the community. While our focus is Parker County, we absolutely will not turn someone away because they’re in a neighboring county, and will also be helping out some nationally where we can. We aren’t exclusive at all to the horse world, although if you know us outside of this, you know we do lots of fundraisers for those in the horse community and will continue to do so as well as helping those that aren’t apart of it locally.
We’ve been made aware of just how serious the needs are in our county first hand recently and God has used that to push us to act. We will be partnered with Parker County Arena to raise as much as we can and reach as many as we can.
