It is graduation time and we would like to congratulate Ellie, who has attended the girls Leadership and Horsemanship Camp multiple times. She has so many skills that she developed over the camps that quickly reflected in her ability to a respected leader to others and build her own self-worth and confidence.

Ellie is an amazing young lady and we can't wait to follow her next steps. She has been a member of the Katy Cowgirls for several years, who also are committed to teaching leadership skills and cultivating servant-hearts in the girls.

Lead Changes, lead by Chris Cox. had the opportunity to share our mission with an incredible group last night. We were honored Mason, who attended camp two times, joined by his grandparents and fiancé, shared his story and the positive impact Chris and Lead Changes had on his life. Mason spoke with confidence and did a great job. Thank you Mason for being a part of the evening and enhancing our lives with your accomplishments.

Recently, Charley Cox and Case Cox lead a Youth Clinic at Chris Cox Horsemanship. They have both been a part of Lead Changes since its beginning and they have developed relationships with many youth, as well as become role models and mentors.

JT was a camper at the 2025 Boys Leadership and Horsemanship Camp. He arrived at camp a polite, quiet young man with little interest in horses. To see him now with his bright smile, obvious confidence on the horse and in himself, along with all his accomplishments since last summer was amazing.

He was accompanied at the clinic by his very proud grandparents. They shared these comments.

“Lead Changes has truly changed JT’s life - and ours as a family in ways that are hard to put into words. After his experience with Lead Changes, something in him really came alive. The change hasn’t just been about horses. He has grown in his faith. He is more present with the family, more willing to help others and takes real pride in his work on the farm. His grades have improved and we see him pushing himself in ways we hadn’t seen before. Lead Changes didn’t just teach him how to ride, it helped shape who he is becoming.”

Way to go JT. Your grandparents and family are so proud of you and so is everyone at Lead Changes.
