If you’re a cop in the OKC metro or surrounding area looking for a basic RDS transition course OR an Instructor level course, this is hands down one of the best RDS classes I have attended! And it’s FREE!

Logan and the other Instructors are masters of the craft and break down the course material so anyone can understand it. Get signed up, I’m assuming 10 spots will go fast!

We have FULL CLASS for RDS basic and RDS instructor on April 19th and 20th! Class is free to any licensed Oklahoma LEO. Course will be held in the metro area. PM for details and to reserve your spot. Let us know in the comments that you sent a PM. See you on the range!

Low light pistol/rifle is this Saturday July 15th and it’s sure to be a good time! This course is limited in the number of students due to the reduced visibility and the needed student/instructor ratio, but there’s still a few spots open if anyone is interested.

This will be a basic 4-5 hour course covering topics of target identification and shooting under reduced and no light conditions using handheld and weapons mounted flashlights.

Most public ranges don’t allow night shooting, so this course is special in that it allows responsible citizens to gain valuable knowledge and insight for those times during reduced lighting conditions.

If you’re interested, you can signup at the link below. 👇🏼

5 Hours This course is designed to give students a brief introduction and a better understanding of working a handgun and carbine through all lighting conditions. This course will focus on the relevant applications of both systems in realistic environments to include home defense and concealed carry...

To catch-up on posting, we finished up our 1-day basic handgun course (Pistol 1) at the end of May and a 2-day intermediate carbine course (Carbine 2) the weekend before last. Both of these were great classes and all of the students excelled throughout the courses by putting in a lot of good work on the warm days.

Carbine 2 was especially fun because it builds off the basic fundamentals these responsible citizens and Law Enforcement Officers had previously learned and challenged them to better themselves and up their level of skill. Videos are in the comments because it wouldn’t let me add with the pictures.

Shout out to Bravo Company USA and Otis Technology for the swag to giveaway and a special thanks to Veteran Towing LLC for always coming through with a vehicle to use and abuse!

Yesterday we finished up day one of what will be four days this month of impact mu****on and OC training for a western Oklahoma law enforcement agency.

After covering the use of impact mu****ons and the legalities surrounding it, Deputies and Detention Officers were exposed to numerous scenarios where they had to apply their knowledge and ability against a live role player using simu****ons rounds and a simu****on kit designed for 12 gauge sh****ns.

For those that might not know, impact mu****ons (sometimes called bean bag rounds or rubber balls) are less lethal projectiles that are generally fired from a 12 gauge sh***un and use their kinetic energy to gain compliance of uncooperative individuals. Impact mu****ons along with Tasers and OC (pepper spray) are great less lethal use of force options for Law Enforcement agencies to have when used correctly.

Also, Thank you to the Western Technology Center in Elk City for the use of your facilities!

We finished up a 2-day Basic Handgun class over the weekend for Southwestern Oklahoma State University. There’s not very many colleges that I know of that you can get college credit for shooting fi****ms and fulfilling the training requirements to obtain your Self-Defense Act license. This course goes above and beyond SDA requirements and students leave with far more practical shooting experience than most civilians ever get.

Check out what the SWOSU Parks and Recreation Management Department has to offer!

Special thanks to CoolFire Trainer for the dryfire presentation and allowing these students to get hands on with the equipment to get some valuable dryfire repetitions. If you’re looking to up your dryfire game, check them out!

We got back yesterday from a long 10 days on the road in Alabama.

First we had a little R&R in South Alabama with the intention of hunting some pigs under night vision, even though the weather had other plans for us. We still had a great time.

Then we attended a 5 day course outside of Montgomery. We’re always students trying to learn! Thanks to the County Sheriff’s Office for being a great range host. Probably one of the nicest ranges I’ve been on! Plus, the 70° weather was pretty nice.

Also, special thanks to Boone Walker for overnighting a CoolFire Trainer from Oklahoma so we could use it for a demonstration and presentation on the last day. If you’re looking to up your dryfire game, check out CoolFire Trainer!

Our first course of the year is right around the corner and there’s only a couple of spots left. Hit up the courses link, find a course and get enrolled! Grab a friend, take a course together and come train with us!
