Yesterday, the West MS PTO treated our wonderful teachers to a Back-to-School Luncheon to thank them for all of their hard work getting ready for students to return next week. Thank you, teachers! 🍎

PTO Hospitality events like this luncheon are only possible because of our WMS families and community members who support PTO fundraising each fall. Thank you, WMS families! 💙💛

We get it... you promised your middle schooler you'd take a step back, but you still want to support the school community. Good news—you can do both!

While there are fewer classroom volunteer opportunities, there are still plenty of ways to make a difference. Whether you'd like to help with a specific event, explore joining the PTO Board, or simply stay in the loop, we'd love to hear from you.

Calling on West MS parents! Are you planning to attend one or both Welcome Back nights with your student? We need your help!

To ensure school pictures go smoothly, we're looking for parent volunteers to help students check in to have their photos taken. It's an easy job, and a great way to spend an hour while your student walks their schedule or meets up with friends during the open house.

Looking for an excuse to learn kids names? This is the perfect volunteer role for you! Kemmetmueller Photography will be onsite during the upcoming "Welcome Back Days" taking school pictures - and we are looking for parent/guardian volunteers to manage the student check-in table in the gym. Ready, Set, West! Start the school year off strong at one—or both— Welcome Back Days on Thursday, August 20 and Tuesday, August 25 from 3–7 p.m.

Both nights are open house style, so stop by when it works for your family. Students can walk their schedules, take yearbook photos, find tech resources, visit the Health Office, learn about activities and athletics, and more. Sixth graders can also drop off supplies and practice their locker combinations. Please note that teachers will not be at these events.

We DO-NUT know what we’d do without our amazing teachers & staff!

It was so much fun to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! Many thanks to all families who support PTO fundraising, which makes appreciation efforts like these possible!

Thanks also to The Original Pancake House (Plymouth) and Crew Car Wash for their donations in support of our teachers!
