It was so much fun to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! Many thanks to all families who support PTO fundraising, which makes appreciation efforts like these possible!

Thanks also to The Original Pancake House (Plymouth) and Crew Car Wash for their donations in support of our teachers!

Rise and Shine! It’s Appreciation Time!

Kicking off Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week this morning with breakfast pastries, courtesy of the West MS PTO, and FREE car wash coupons for every member of the West MS staff, courtesy of Crew Car Wash!

It’s going to be a great week celebrating our amazing teachers & staff! 🎉

We need YOU! The West MS PTO is seeking parent volunteers to fill several open positions for the 2026-2027 school year, including:

PTO Executive Board - Come be a part of the leadership team that makes decisions about the PTO budget, grants, investments, etc. (Year-long commitment)

Day 1/Back to School Sidewalk Chalk - Help make our sidewalks beautiful to welcome students back to school in the fall! (1-2 day commitment; late August 2026)

Best at West Fall Fundraiser - Join our veteran fundraising team to make the fall fundraiser a success! (Various roles/flexible time commitments available; August-October 2026)

School Beautification/Bulletin Boards - Help make our school a welcoming and beautiful place to learn by overseeing hallway art installations and bulletin board displays. (Year-long commitment, flexible around volunteer’s schedule)

Hospitality/Teacher Appreciation - Shadow our returning co-chair to help plan and organize appreciation meals and treats throughout the school year. (Year-long commitment)

Book Fair - Join our returning co-chairs to help plan and execute the Scholastic Book Fair next school year. (1-month commitment; January/February 2027)

8th Grade Party - Join our experienced co-chairs to help plan a memorable 8th grade graduation day for the class of 2031. (Various roles/flexible time commitments available; Spring 2027)
