Book Two is Here!! The second manuscript written by Waynoka’s own, Eldon Clemence has arrived and is ready for distribution. Beginning in the late 1800s when this wild, unsettled land was inhabited by a few Indians and some rugged, but determined cow-men who were bringing beef from south Texas to the Kansas railheads to feed the country. There were a few bears, too. The stories and the people were real. Message me here or call for your copy while they last. $35 (plus tax and shipping). You may also, pick up at the Waynoka Historical Society gift shop on Saturdays from 12-4.

Let’s Paint the Railroader Engine! The Waynoka Historical Society is seeking funds to paint and fence the static engine at Waynoka Station. We are close to reaching the $35,000 goal for painting (almost), but need to raise $7,000 for a protective chain link fence. If you ever went to school in Waynoka, you will always be a Railroader. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. Mail to Waynoka Historical Society, PO Box 193, Waynoka, OK 73860.
