Executive Director, Julie and Communications/Development Coordinator, Amanda had the privilege of attending the Dogwood Health Trust Annual Convening yesterday at Isothermal Community College alongside the many grantees of Dogwood Health Trust funds.
It was a wonderful day of collaboration, innovation, and connection. Julie and Amanda are returning to campus feeling reinvigorated - and ready to answer the call of "where are our neighbors" and how can we best love them.
Dogwood Health Trust is a private foundation based in Asheville, North Carolina with the sole purpose of dramatically improving the health and wellbeing of all people and communities of 18 counties and the Qualla Boundary in Western North Carolina.

For less than $5 per meal, you can make a difference. A sponsorship of $1,110 covers one full week (five days) of food truck meal service.

We are hiring! Winter is on its way and so is Cold Grace emergency shelter. From mid-Fall to early Spring, Haywood Pathways Center will only offer emergency shelter on nights that the temperature is below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. We are looking for a temporary resident assistant to help during the Cold Grace period. Any of the items listed can be ordered online and delivered directly to 179 Hemlock Street, Waynesville, but not every item needs to be new! Doing a weekend clean out? Bring your extra items to our front office (open M-F 9am-5pm) to share with our residents!

September marked the first full month of service for the Holy Cow Food Truck since its relaunch. We are humbled and excited by this new chapter and ask for your continued prayers on our remote food service.

It’s officially Fall and the cold weather is on its way. We are now accepting winter clothes and cold-weather donations here at Haywood Pathways. Items include: light-weight coats, heavy-weight coats, hats, gloves, and more for our Winter Coat Giveaway on Saturday, October 10.

Donations can be brought to the main office at 179 Hemlock Street in Waynesville, NC 28786 (open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm).
