We want to thank everyone for coming to this year's Coming Out Day event ❀️ We saw old friends and some new faces, making this exactly what we wanted - a space for every person to be their true selves, surrounded by love and support.
We also shared some memories of Tink, honoring her for all she's done for the LGBTQ+ community and as a founding member of Pulaski County Pride
Thank you all SO MUCH for being there and helping us show the world that this is a community of love and that we aren't going anywhere πŸ’œ

It may be gloomy out today, but that won't squash our excitement about the Coming Out Day family picnic tomorrow (October 11th) We'll be at Pavilion #1 in Roubidoux Park, starting at noon, and our friends from Collective Ink Tattoo will be there providing free face painting for kids of all ages 🌈🎨
Hotdogs and cake/cupcakes will be provided, and you can help us celebrate by bringing a side dish to share (i.e., individual chip bags, pasta salad, etc) and your own drinks.

πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆThis event is also in honor of Laurie "Tink" Martin-Howell, a founding member of Pulaski County Route 66 Pride and fierce advocate that our community has sadly lost. Before her passing, Tink made it clear that she not only wanted but expected us to make the Coming Out Day picnic happen, and in honor of her, we will be there, rain or shine, until the very last person leavesπŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ

Be proud of who you are and your support for LGBTQ+ equality this National Coming Out Day!
We are still coming together, celebrating ourselves, and advocating for our rights. It is more important than ever that we show up to send a clear message against the threats to equality: We are not going anywhere.

Join us for a family-friendly picnic with our community.
Stay tuned for more details to come!
