LIGHT IN THE DARK--
Throughout the course of the changes going on within the county and daily uncertainty, KARE is proud to announce that we were a recipient of a $7,000 grant to further provide mental health services "in-house" to the children of Haywood County who pass through our doors.
We are extremely excited and thankful to continue building our therapy program to provide evidence based, trauma-informed care. Thank you to the community members who serve on the Fund's board and allowed us this incredible opportunity.
Funding for this program was provided by The Fund for Haywood County, an affiliate fund of The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina. The Fund for Haywood County is an endowment created to support the charitable needs of our community.
