As conversations around downtown revitalization begin, we want the community to know this is about more than beautification projects or new ideas. It is about protecting the heart of Waynesville while creating a stronger future for the businesses, families, residents, and visitors who make downtown what it is today.

Revitalization means supporting local businesses, improving the experience for everyone who visits downtown, preserving the history and character people love, and creating new opportunities that help our community continue to grow and thrive.

Most importantly, this is something that takes all of us.

We invite the community to join the conversation at the first Downtown Revitalization Meeting on June 30th from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Village Government Center. This is an opportunity to hear ideas, share input, ask questions, and be part of the future of Downtown Waynesville from the very beginning.

✨ What a way to kick off Street Faire season in Downtown Waynesville!

Our opening day was filled with food trucks, live music, community, and visitors discovering the charm of our historic small town. From Main Street to side streets, downtown was buzzing all day long and we are so grateful to everyone who came out to support our local businesses, vendors, and community.

And the best part? We are doing it all summer long!! 🎉
