WAYNESVILLE ROTARIANS CLEAN THE CREEK!

Members of the Waynesville Rotary Club spent Saturday morning, July 18th "Cleaning the Creek" at the Waynesville Parks and Recreation Center on Vance St. Members split into two teams and worked from the creek's upper end near the old BiLo's site toward the Skate Park. A second team worked from the new bridge at the opposite end of the park and worked similarly back to the skate park. The teams, meeting in the middle, collected a truck load of trash that was removed from the creek banks and water. This effort by the club supported Haywood Waterways.
