Nice turnout today. Barbara was absolutely color-coordinated with her beautiful richly-hued wall hanging. Skuda worked on finishing one half of her improv “Feed Me!” diptych. Great job as always Shadies! Beth treated us to fabulous blueberry pies made from yummy berries that Evelyn was kind enough to share. Thanks to you both! 🫐

LaVeda is on another level with this fabulous wall hanging made of antique kimonos and hand-dyed fabric! 🤩 Sherry’s quilt just shouts “Happy Spring!” (Or maybe “Bring on Summer!”) And Beth’s strawberry shortcake was the perfect way to top off the day! 🍓

Celebratory gathering this week as we feted both Wendy and Ann in honor of their birthdays. Resident baker extraordinaire Beth treated each of them to a favorite cake. Terrific show-and-tells included Lisa’s “Gees Bend” style quilt, Marilyn wowed us with her stunning blue and orange masterpiece, Elizabeth treated us with her inspirational beauty. Sandy shared her completed red, white and black retreat quilt, Sherry showed her purrfectly adorable cat quilt and Susan proudly showed off her most recent baby quilt. Great job as always, Shadies!
