Congratulations to Ron Richards, a proud Vietnam Veteran and Patriot Guard Rider, who was the lucky winner of the beautiful De La Rosa's Creations flag!
The flag was raffled off by Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Missouri 4-11 during Lake of the Ozarks Bikefest. Thank you to everyone who participated in the raffle and supported our mission of Vets Helping Vets, to assist our military, veterans and their families in need.

It is a day for people to recognize and honor those who have lost a son or daughter while serving the United States Armed Forces.

Coming right off a busy week at BikeFest at Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson, members of Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Missouri 4-11 were honored to attend our monthly "Forgotten Vets" visit today. Members rode out to the Life Care Center of Waynesville to spend the afternoon playing Yahtzee with residents who were eager and ready for some fun and games!

Our Forgotten Vets program is a dedicated outreach initiative focused on visiting and supporting veterans who reside in long-term care facilities, assisted living centers, and/or nursing homes. Many of these older or disabled veterans have outlived their immediate families or rarely receive visitors, leaving them at risk of feeling isolated or “forgotten” by the community they served.

This program is a direct reflection of our core mission, "Vets Helping Vets." By riding out to these facilities, our members ensure aging and hospitalized veterans know their military service is still honored and remembered. When CVMA® MO 4-11 members walk into a care center, they provide a distinct type of peer-to-peer companionship and understanding that only fellow veterans and their families can offer.

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Missouri 4-11 coordinated with Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson this year to host our annual Wheels 4 Warriors USA motorcycle presentation! Wheels 4 Warriors USA is a fantastic non-profit dedicated to providing motorcycles to deserving combat veterans, offering them therapeutic freedom, healing, and a tight-knit community on two (or three) wheels. This beautiful mission aligns perfectly with the CVMA® core ethos of "Vets Helping Vets"—ensuring our brothers and sisters in arms are supported by those who understand their journey best.

This year, CVMA® MO 4-11 donated $3,000 to Wheels 4 Warriors USA. Additionally, the beautifully refurbished Harley-Davidson Ultra came from CVMA® MO 4-11's very own chapter members, Popeye and Mama-T. They were last year’s recipients of the Wheels 4 Warriors USA motorcycle, which was a refurbished Victory Trike. While parting with the Ultra was bittersweet, they take immense comfort in knowing the bike is going directly into the hands of a very deserving veteran. That deserving veteran is Dante Lamb!

Dante is not a member of CVMA®, but he is a combat veteran who selflessly volunteers much of his time assisting other veterans through charities like ours and various veteran organizations.
It takes a village to support our heroes, and this presentation truly showed the power of community! In addition to receiving the amazing motorcycle from Popeye and Mama-T through the coordination of Wheels 4 Warriors USA, several partners stepped up big:
• 🛠️ Klock Werks donated a brand-new windshield!
• 💺 Saddlemen donated a brand-new seat!
• 🛍️ Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson provided Dante with a $500 gift certificate!
• 💰 Our Chapter also donated an additional $500 directly to the recipient on behalf of the chapter.

Because Wheels 4 Warriors USA works seamlessly with many chapters throughout the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association®, and CVMA® proudly supports their mission, this presentation was a CVMA® MO 4 State-Sanctioned Event. Our Chapter hosted the swipe station during the event. We had an incredible turnout with over 50 CVMA® members stopping by our vendor booth at Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson on Sunday, 20 September, with over 4 states being proudly represented!

At Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® (CVMA®) MO 4-11, our core mission has always been "Vets Helping Vets." That is why we are incredibly proud to support Wheels 4 Warriors USA (W4WUSA), an organization whose mission perfectly aligns with ours.

Wheels 4 Warriors USA is dedicated to helping veterans by providing them with motorcycles, gear, and a supportive veteran community to foster the camaraderie we all miss from our time in service. They use their resources to give former riders and new motorcyclists everything they need to get back on the road.

Our chapter knows first-hand the true healing power of wind therapy—not just for the veterans themselves, but for their entire families. When you're out on the open road, the absolute focus required allows the heavy burdens and daily challenges weighing on a veteran's mind to simply slip away. It brings peace and a renewed sense of purpose.

Because we believe so deeply in what W4WUSA does, CVMA® MO 4-11 actively steps up to support their missions. We proudly submit veteran recipients/donors to W4WUSA alongside a monetary donation from our chapter to fund future builds. Together, we are changing lives and helping our brothers and sisters heal, two (and sometimes 3) wheels at a time.
