We are a volunteer-based non-profit that provides low-cost, non-emergency services for dogs and cats. Spays/neuters are our number one priority, along with other services to include vaccines, flea and worm medications, antibiotics, dentals with x-ray (cleanings and extractions), amputations, eye removals, x-ray, and cold laser. Our mission statement: "Catnip Acres is a nonprofit entity whose mission is to ameliorate the suffering associated with cat overpopulation in Southwestern PA. Catnip Acres reaches a subset of animals that would otherwise be under-served by providing high-volume/high-quality/low-cost sterilization programs for cats. Additionally, Catnip Acres delivers high-quality/low-cost veterinary services for acute and chronic health problems in cat and dog populations. Furthermore, through sterilization and vaccination, Catnip Acres increases animal quality of life and fights overpopulation, thereby decreasing animal abuse, neglect, disease, and shelter overcrowding."

Please Do Not Leave Animals Unattended

For the safety and well-being of all animals, do not leave pets or other animals at our door or on our property when the clinic is closed or unattended.

We are a veterinary clinic, not an animal shelter or animal surrender facility, and we are not able to accept animals.

Leaving an animal unattended may put it at risk and may violate local or state laws regarding animal abandonment.

If you have found a stray or need to surrender an animal, please contact your local animal shelter or animal control agency for assistance.

Thank you for helping keep animals safe and for your understanding and cooperation
