Greene County Warm Nights - 20 and below is a free overnight shelter providing a warm place for people to stay on extremely cold winter nights in the Waynesburg area. Those who find themselves homeless or without heat on days/nights when the temperature drops below 20 degrees will have a safe, warm place to keep out of the bitter cold. Multiple churches and organizations around the county have vol

unteered to open their doors from 8pm to 7am the following morning. One location at a time will be open in 2-week increments throughout the cold months of January and February. Trained volunteers will staff the sites nightly to accommodate registered participants. To register to stay overnight at a warming shelter, you must call the SPHS Crisis line @ 1-800-417-9460 or Dial 211 and ask about "Warm Nights" to be referred. No registration calls or walk-ins will be permitted after that time for safety reasons.
