Mason-Dixon Bead & Jewelry Society Beads & Jewelry: News& Events: Adams&Franklin County, PA & Washington, Frederick&Carroll County, MD As always..Happy Beading!

With the next two closest groups being located at least an hour away......it was decided that Carroll County, MD and Adams County, PA needed their own, local, artisans society where beaders, jewelry artisans (of any media type from fiber to "upcycled" or found items!), goldsmiths, bead historians and metal workers could all get together in a community of like minded individuals to exchange ideas,

form lasting business and social relationships, and enjoy a variety of classes and lectures by both members and guests. As for the name.....as the quintessential point of division of the north and south.....what could be more perfect than utilize that same name to represent the "coming together" of beaders and artisans from BOTH sides of the line whom are all invested in the same group and sharing the same goals........the love of beads, the need to create and the desire to share those things with others.
