Anime & Manga Club 22980, located Waynesboro Virginia is a community-based club based on the purpose of understanding and learning about the value of Japanese styled anime & manga (descended from the works of Osamu Tezuka aka "God of Manga" in the 1960's also working with Disney, than Hayao Miyazaki in the 1980's). At each club meeting, we will be viewing different anime, suggesting manga's of the

week for member's to look into, attend and/or host Japanese cultural-based and Anime & Manga themed activities and events. We meet once every week on Thursday's from 5:45 pm until 8:30 pm at the Local Waynesboro Public Library located in Waynesboro Va (Map and Directions). From 5:45 to 6:15 pm, discussions of last week's meeting, future events, and anime's to vote on for the next week. Viewing of Anime starts at 6:15 pm on a projector screen (Subtitles available). At 8:30 pm, we will commence with clean-up of any sodas and food (if you bring an ENTIRE pizza, please expect someone to ask you for a slice), straighten chairs, etc. Any other discussions that need to be voted on, will be voted on at that time. One Thursday a month we will try hosting a club voted fundraising Tournament, locations picked and voted on by the club. All participants will need to be signed in and know all of the rules up to date. A rule book will be available for viewing depending on the tournament type. Entry fee for tournament are a total of $10 per participant for non-members and $5 for members (donations accepted). The total amount of fee's will be split three ways, first place and second place winners. The other third will go towards fundraising for the club. If tournaments last longer than 9 pm, tournaments will pick back up at a separate location. New member: Membership is $5 a month, donations welcome. Visitor's unsure of membership can attend two club meetings before expecting to become members. Age limits: *age 16, can not attend without adult content, with consent may attend and become club members with signed parental consent, also required that parent(s) sign the form(s) in front of president (Cierra Tomlin) and vice president (Josh Brooks) and/or speaker of the house (Wesley Gross) of Anime and Manga Club 22980. Look who is coming to Virginia!

We are pleased to welcome Faylan to NekoCon as our Saturday concert main act!

FAYLAN is a Japanese singer from the Saitama prefecture. Her debut single was in 2009 with Lantis and it was the opening theme of CANAAN – “mind as Judgement”.

Many of her songs were used as themes for various anime series including Carnival Phantasm, Samurai Girls, Future Diary, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, The Fruit of Grisaia, The Qwaser of Stigmata, Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero, and Blazblue: Alter Memory.
