Our third graders were blessed to be the first class to learn with Buttonwood Institute this year. We learned about the wonders of wool and about being stewards of the earth by completing park ranger training! We had a marvelous Monday!

On the last day of school Dr. Wagner gave out journals for the older students to record their summer happenings. Several students were thrilled to share what they had written, and everyone else was blessed to read along. We had a wonderful time sharing our adventures and making connections with our school family.

What an amazing week back to school! Our staff gathered the first two days in time of prayer and learning. Our spiritual retreat this year was held at the Grotto in Emmitsburg, MD. Our staff spent time in prayer, reflection and peace while we prepared for the first day of school.

Then on Wednesday came the day we wait for all summer. Our students returned! Blessed are those who get to bring our littles closer to Jesus!

Congratulations to three of our SACS alumni!! Bella, Mary and Clemi are the recipients of the John Itell Knights of Columbus Scholarship for 2026. We can't wait to see all the amazing things they will accomplish and the impact they will have on the world in the future!
