We had some very creative pumpkins in our contest on Saturday. Congratulations to St. Mary's Episcopal Church who raised the most money for Buttonwood at $70.83. Their Growing in Love pumpkin came in 1st place, followed by Field Hockey Ball to the Eye and Nature Pumpkin. 🧡🎃

We had an amazing event on Saturday. 🧡❤️ The weather was cool and lovely and so many wonderful families came to enjoy the wonders of fall with us! 🍂We are having an after event sale of pumpkins & Ivy Hill c***r - priced to move this week! 💸 Email: [email protected] to schedule a pick up.

A new addition to our event tomorrow is a fall clean up - Recycle, Reuse Yard Sale. ♻ It will be held at the top of the park during event hours: 12p-4p. Items are for sale by donation and benefit Buttonwood Nature Center.

Buttonwood volunteer Bill Hofmann traveled to Manheim this week to pick up an important Chesapeake Bay Foundation donation of native plants that will complete our pond restoration project. 💦🌾

This female Carolina Mantis came to visit us and blended into our screen door beautifully! Unlike the Chinese Mantis that we posted recently, this gal is a native. 😍 We are so happy to see her because she snacks on Stink Bugs and Lantern Flies.

Pumpkins & Pippins is this Saturday at Pine Hill Park! 🎃🍎This fun fall event is a fundraiser for Buttonwood. Remember to bring cash for things like the yard sale, bake sale, pumpkins, pie walk and our awesome pumpkin contest! 💸
