Freezer Donation Needed!

We are currently looking for a donation of a new freezer for our front lobby. Unfortunately, our current freezer is older and is no longer maintaining a proper temperature, so we are in need of a replacement.

We are hoping to find something fairly similar in size and style to our current freezer shown below.

If you have a freezer you would be willing to donate, or know of someone or a business that may be able to help, we would greatly appreciate you reaching out!

The Clothing Bank is in DESPERATE NEED of consistent volunteers in order to stay open for our community. Below are the dates and times we are in need of volunteers for the clothing bank.

Mondays: 9am-12pm
1 pm - 3:30pm
Tuesdays: 1-3:30pm
Thursdays: 1pm -6pm
Fridays: 9am -12pm
1pm - 3:30pm

Back to School Event Recap!

We are so grateful to share that we were able to help over 200 kids between Waynesboro and Greencastle prepare for the new school year!

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who gave their time and helped make this event possible. We truly could not have done it without you.

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our event. We are so grateful for our community!

The board of directors and staff of Waynesboro Community & Human Services extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Marguerite “Marge” Kiersz.

Marge was a former board member and a longtime supporter of our mission, her care for this community was felt in every season of her service. Her commitment, kindness, and steady belief in the work of WCHS helped strengthen the foundation we continue to build on today.

We are grateful for her life, her leadership, and the legacy she leaves within our organization and our town. Our thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.
