Alright, Burke County…

What’s something you learned WAY too late in life? 🤔😂

We’ll start:

That the arrow on your gas gauge tells you which side your gas tank is on. 🤯

Could be useful.
Could be funny.
Could be completely random.

What’s something that had you saying, “Wait… WHAT?!” when you finally found out?

Drop it in the comments and let’s see what knowledge we’ve all been missing out on. 👇

And while you’re sharing your wisdom, don’t forget tomorrow is Second Saturday in Downtown Waynesboro! Come spend some time with us, shop local, support our small businesses, and grab brunch at Good Day Cafe. There are plenty of great places to eat, shop, and explore right here in your hometown.

Now tell us… what did you learn way too late in life? 😂

Downtown Waynesboro, let’s help one of our local favorites out! ❤️ Good Day Cafe'

Running a small business isn’t always easy, and one thing we love about our local business owners is that they’re willing to listen, adapt, and grow. One of our downtown restaurants is asking for your honest feedback, ideas, and suggestions on how they can better serve our community.

If you’ve visited before, tell them what you love. If there’s something you’d like to see added, changed, or improved, share that too. Whether it’s menu items, hours, specials, events, atmosphere, or something completely different, now is the time to speak up.

Remember, constructive feedback helps local businesses thrive, and thriving local businesses help our entire community.

Drop your thoughts on their original post and let’s help them continue to grow right here in Downtown Waynesboro! 🍽️❤️

Question: What’s one thing that makes a restaurant become your “go-to” spot instead of somewhere you visit only occasionally? 👇

Good afternoon, this is Kevin. I’m terrible with social media and posting on a regular basis. I’m way too sporadic and inactive with it but I’ve realized that it’s “vital” to be seen and noticed on them in some businesses these days. I’m reaching out to find out what I/ Good Day Cafe can (in your opinion ) do to improve and make things better and to regain our following from the community.

We’re at a crossroad and I need help from all of you to get the directions that I need in order to try and make things better for everyone. Please participate and respond even if it hurts for me to hear it.

PM or DM me - here or on my personal page if you prefer. Thank you in advance for your help.

We talk a lot on this page about supporting local businesses, attending events, and making our community better. But today, let’s talk about something even simpler.

Be kind.

You never know what someone is carrying behind a smile, a busy schedule, or a Facebook post. Sometimes the smallest things—a smile, a hug, a text message, a phone call, or simply asking “How are you, really?”—can completely change someone’s day.

So here’s your challenge today:

Reach out to someone you haven’t talked to in a while. Check on that friend you’ve been meaning to call. Say hello to someone you normally wouldn’t. Ask if they need anything. Take a minute to remind someone they’re not alone.

A simple act of kindness costs nothing, but it can mean everything.

And while we’re at it, let me remind YOU of something…

You are appreciated.
You are important.
You are loved.
And this community is better because you’re a part of it.

Now go make somebody smile today. ❤️

Tell us in the comments: What’s the kindest thing someone has ever done for you?
