mber Board of Directors which includes leaders of the school district, the local business community, social service and youth serving agencies, the faith community and aw enforcement. CISBC-FC is dedicated to removing barriers to education for at-risk youth. Targeted objectives include: increasing academic standing and test scores, increasing the graduation rate, reducing the absenteeism and suspension rates of students at risk of failing. also committed to providing youth with positive and creative outlets to build self-esteem, self-image, and to become good citizens. CISBC-FC believes that every child needs and deserves:
• a personal, one-to-one relationship with a caring adult
• a safe place to learn and grow
• a marketable skill to use upon graduation
• a chance to give back to peers and community
• a healthy start with the potential for a healthy future
