At the Burke County Senior Center, we are still keeping up with our steps and championing our health! 👟❤️

Today we also enjoyed a wonderful late Mother’s Day celebration with a delicious breakfast for our amazing senior moms. The menu included grits, eggs, sausage, bacon, French toast, orange juice, coffee, and water. 🍳🥓🍞☕

Most importantly, we celebrated the beautiful mothers in our center and captured special moments with photos to remember the day. 💐📸

Thank you to everyone who helped make this celebration so special. We love honoring the wisdom, strength, and love of our senior moms! 💕

🌟 **Older Americans Month in Action!** 🌟

Today, the Burke Senior Center hit a home run with an amazing trip to see the Augusta GreenJackets at **SRP Park**! ⚾💚

We proudly embraced this year’s theme—**“Powered by Connection & Championing Our Health”**—by staying active, getting in plenty of steps, and soaking up the sunshine. ☀️👟

From collecting autographs on baseballs and shirts ✍️ to enjoying a delicious lunch at the park 🌭, every moment was filled with fun, laughter, and great company.

It was truly an awesome day making memories together—because staying active and connected never gets old! 💙

Today at the Burke County Senior Center, we are Championing Our Health in a fun and engaging way—with Bingocize! 💪🎉

Bingocize is an evidence-based health promotion program that combines the excitement of Bingo with simple, guided exercise movements. As participants play, they also complete exercises designed to improve strength, balance, flexibility, and overall mobility.

This program isn’t just about staying active—it also includes health education that helps our seniors better understand how to prevent falls, stay independent, and live healthier lives. The best part? It’s social, it’s interactive, and it keeps everyone smiling while moving!

At Burke County Senior Center, we believe taking care of your health should be enjoyable—and today, our seniors are proving just that. 💙
