Tigers United 2025 Presents Scholarship Fundraiser

Waynesboro, Georgia – Tigers United 2025 is proud to announce its Scholarship Fundraiser on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The event will be held at the historic Waynesboro Ice Plant, located at 260 Barron Street, Waynesboro, Georgia 30830.

This lively gathering is a party with a purpose, raising support for Burke County High School Class of 2026 graduates who plan to attend Savannah State University. Guests are encouraged to embrace the beachwear attire theme for an evening filled with fellowship, community spirit, and Tiger Pride.

The honorees for this year’s fundraiser are:

Today, I celebrated the life of Rev. Franklin D. Blackshear, the father of my beloved freshman classmate, Stephanie.

The presider of the service was Bro. Frank Ellis, Jr. who 40years ago penned my letter of recommendation into the House of Alpha. I have not seen him in 40 years.

What a day to remember!
