5K Update: We have our eye on the National Weather Service radar and while we know the weather might throw a curve ball it appears the rain is moving out/will lighten up and we should be fine for a 9am start.

Plan to check out the Cary Memorial Library, Wayne ME Silent Auction starting Aug. 6. We put the fun in the fundraising. The bidding website goes live Thursday morning at 9. Opening Reception is at the Williams House across from the library at 14 Old Winthrop Rd in downtown Wayne, Thursday Aug. 6, 5-7pm. Stop in for light refreshments and browse the lovely display.

Join us for the annual Cary Memorial Library 5K on Sat. August 8 at 9AM. Runners, walkers, strollers, and leashed pets are all welcome! The gently rolling course starts and ends at the Wayne Elementary School, with familiar landmarks along the way including the Ladd Center, the General Store, Memorial Park, Cobbies, and of course the library.

First place male, female and pup finishers will receive a prize, and all children will receive a Tubby's voucher. (16 and under)

This year all Registration begins at 8:00 at the Wayne Elementary School, with forms available on the library website: https://www.cary-memorial.lib.me.us Forms and fees ($ 25.00/adult, $10.00/kid) can be dropped off at the library, or brought the morning of the race. Please plan to pay with check or cash--thank you.
