Tomorrow, August 30th, is the last Market of the season! Come stock up for the holiday weekend. We have what you need for a picnic or barbecue - various meats, chicken, all kinds of veggies and herbs, eggs, sourdough breads, fancy mushrooms, cheeses, delicious sweet baked goods and more. Besides those items, you will find many local products to buy and save as gifts for family and friends - think beautiful pottery, Maine maple syrup and honey, skin care products and gourmet candies. Come on down to the green adjacent to the post office, listen to great music, socialize, and support you local growers and makers. Hope to see you there.

It's a PERFECT day to go to the farmers market! We'll be here by the beautiful Mill Pond in dowtown Wayne until noon.

The Market’s resident musician, Stan Davis, is constantly entertaining us with something new. This year his singing and guitar playing has included song requests by little kids, a group sing of This Land Is Your Land, harmony singing with Cynthia Phinney, and a group of teenagers who practiced the song "Home Grown Tomatoes" at home and shared the microphone to sing it.
For the month of August he has planned a series of special musical events:
August 2: world music on the Irish Bouzouki
August 9: summer resident and musician Mark Norwine will join Stan on guitar
August 16: Blues day, with Delta Slide Guitar
August 25: Rhythm instruments for all to use.
We expect Cindy Bandy O'Brien to join Stan on hammer dulcimer on one of the Saturdays.
Please join us and your friends at the Wayne Farmers' Market on Saturdays in August, in downtown Wayne from 9 to noon. Musicians are invited to join in or to do a few songs on Stan's guitar, and all are invited to sing along.

While listening, you can buy the freshest local foods and hand crafted products, while supporting your local business people – our hard-working growers and makers.
