The Passaic County Traffic Officers Association is partnering again with the Hawthorne PBA in a 50/50 raffle. This is our only fundraising. We need all the help we can get to keep the Behind the Wheel scholarships moving ahead. This program pays for area high school students to complete the required 6 hours behind the wheel before getting their driver's license. Tickets are 20.00 each and the drawing is December 21st... the perfect time for a holiday windfall. Reach out to Scott Nayda for tickets, any form of payment is accepted. Thanks in advance.

The PCTOA is sponsoring the 76th Aggressive Driving Task Force event today, Thanksgiving Eve from 0700-1900 hrs. The purpose of this enforcement event is to modify driving behaviors and encourage everyone to slow down, be alert, put the phone down, and buckle up!

The PCTOA hosted a kickoff briefing at 0700 hrs this morning at the Robert A. Lyons Police Academy of Passaic County with officers from the following police agencies: Wayne PD, Bloomingdale PD, Kinnelon PD, Pompton Lakes PD, Haledon PD, North Haledon PD, Hawthorne PD, Passaic PD, and Passaic County Sheriff's Department.
