Wayne Food Pantry & School Backpack Program - Wayne, Nebraska The Wayne Food Pantry is an ecumenical organization dedicated to serving residents of Wayne County, Nebraska, who are in need up to three times a year.

In order to use the Wayne Food Pantry, please call or email in advance if you need assistance (to check eligibility and availability). All inquiries are confidential.

* You must be a Wayne, Nebraska County resident.
* You must have a photo ID.
* You will need to provide basic information for record keeping (name, address, etc)
* You may receive food up to three times per year.

Things the Wayne Food Pantry is currently low on include-
instant rice, pastas other than spaghetti, canned fruits, cake mixes, meal in a box like Hamburger Helper. Thanks to the Wayne Community for your continued support.

This morning Wayne Food Pantry received a large donation of sweet corn, we also have tomatoes, squash, cucumbers and zucchini. We welcome anyone to come take advantage of the produce this week. If you come for produce it will not be counted as a Pantry visit. Feel free to call the church if you have questions. Wayne Food Pantry hours are Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Thanks to Quality Foods for their donation from the annual "Meals for the Hungry Program". Almost 100 bags were donated. The bags were divided between Haven House and the Wayne Food Pantry. Thanks to all who participated and purchased a bag during the drive. Together we can do more. Thank-you!!!
