𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒!! We all had a great Memorial Day Celebration! First, during a light drizzle, we were brought by the Wayne Recreation Department Bus to our float. Most of us climbed on, but Sean, Matt, Jason, and Roz walked alongside, giving small flags to small children. Riders on the float were Hannah, Aileen, Luis, Andrew, Tom, Marj, Danielle, Que Qay, Dillon, Julia, Susan, and Ryan. We all had flags which we waved the entire length of the parade. Our Bubble Machine performed flawlessly throughout the whole parade, spreading bubbles of cheer that the kids thought were great! Michele and Lucy were spectators and photographers near the end of the parade. As we passed the reviewing stand, we all shouted and waved to all the dignitaries who clapped and cheered at our presence! Then, we were brought to our bus, which brought us back to Foundabilities, where we saw Joe and Daniel cooking burgers and hot dogs. We unloaded quickly, because everyone was hungry and desperate for the rest room! The ladies, Lynda, Pat, Betty, Michele, and Lucy were ready to serve the delicious Barbeque! Tom called the tables, and we all got heapping loads of delicious food! The pictures will make you drool if you are hungry! Vince, Scott, Giovanni, Jose, Iris, Marie, and Jimmy came in also to enjoy the feast. Then, as a great surprise to all of us, Mayor Chris Vergano and his wife stopped in to say hello! What a wonderful day! Everyone helped clean up, and we were able to finish by 2:30! Have a nice evening, and enjoy Tuesday. See you all on Wednesday!
