What an incredible evening! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the 6th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting with hot chocolate, Christmas carols, and plenty of holiday cheer. 🎶☕️🌟
A huge shout-out to the fantastic teams and volunteers who made the night shine:
The Village of Wayne Police & Public Works, the Galloway family, Fox Valley Lighting, the Garden Club, our amazing Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, the Wayne Historical Preservation Society, our Citizen of the Year, Doreen DeFilippis, and all the helping hands behind the scenes - Mike Abbott, and the joyful Little Home Church choir.

Warm cocoa at 4:30 PM, carols & Santa’s arrival at 5 PM.

What an unforgettable Flag Day Parade! A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who participated—whether you walked, waved from the sidelines, carried the big flag, or helped behind the scenes, you helped make this day something special.

Even a torrential downpour couldn’t dampen the spirit of this town. Thank you to everyone for rolling with the delay and staying in good spirits, and a special thanks to the Little Home Church for providing shelter.

We’re so grateful to all the groups and individuals who helped bring the parade to life - Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Wayne Hunt, Village Staff, Police & Fire Departments, Jerry Marchese, the Garden Club, cake bakers and servers, A Wing & A Prayer Dixieland Orchestra, kids with decorated bikes, the Wayne Historical Preservation Society, our Citizen of the Year, Doreen DeFilippis. And our 2025 sponsors, Abbott Tree Care and Fox Valley Lighting. If we missed anyone, please know your contribution was appreciated! It takes a Village!!!
