Paws With A Cause® enhances the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities nationally through custom-trained Assistance Dogs. We provide services in 20 states and have placed more than 3,300 Assistance Dogs across the country. PAWS trains:
- Service Dogs for people with physical disabilities
- Hearing Dogs for people who are Hearing Impaired/Deaf
- Seizure Response D

- Service Dogs for Children with Autism

Meet Emma & QUAKE 🐾

Living with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) and Rheumatoid Arthritis, Emma relies on QUAKE to be a steady paw by her side. When Emma fainted and collapsed into a snowbank, QUAKE took that role one step further—becoming a true lifesaver.

Our very own QUAKE is a semifinalist for the 16th Annual American Humane Hero Dog Awards! 🐾

QUAKE’s incredible intuition became heroic when his handler Emma fainted and collapsed alone in a freezing Michigan snowbank. He stayed by her side, using his body to keep her warm and provide deep pressure therapy until help arrived.
