Our mission to to SPREAD LOVE by providing emotional and financial support to families battling cancer while also encouraging random acts of kindness and spreading love to others. Lainey responded well to treatment and received chemotherapy through November 2015 to ensure the cancer would remain gone. ma Society through Team in Training. In April of 2013, after training for 7 months, Kelly ran her first half marathon (13.1 miles) in honor her daughter's fight. Unfortunately just two weeks prior to that half marathon, at the age of 39 with no prior family history, Kelly was given devastating news...she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. Yes, mother and daughter, both now fighting cancer at the same time. Lainey and Kelly are both fighters and the Thomas family has a strong belief in God and His purpose for their lives. Part of His purpose led Kelly to start a non-profit foundation to help other families battling cancer. Love Is Louder Than Cancer was born and the mission of the foundation is to SPREAD LOVE by providing emotional and financial support to families battling cancer.
