🎉 Strong Like Ellie is officially 1 year old! 💜🧡
One year ago, this foundation became something more than just an idea. It became a way to give back to families walking a path our family knows all too well.
Over the past year, because of this incredible community, we
💜 Raised over $11,200
🧡 Donated over 250 comfort items to families facing pediatric cancer diagnoses
💜 had over 30 volunteer hours worked to help fundraise, set up markets, and build community right here in Charlotte.
Every dollar donated, every event attended, every share, comment, and word of encouragement has helped us remind families that they are not alone.
This year also came with unexpected challenges, including a pause while I recovered from ACL surgery. Although things slowed down for a while, your support never stopped, and I’m grateful for the grace you’ve shown along the way.
As we head into Year Two, I’m excited to continue growing Strong Like Ellie in a sustainable way so we can keep supporting families facing pediatric cancer for years to come.
